Production Legal Binder provides the following software features:
Use of Production Legal Binder does not create an attorney-client relationship. This platform is a self-service software tool. No attorney-client relationship is formed by registering an account, submitting a project, generating documents, or using any feature of the platform.
If you require legal representation, please contact a licensed attorney directly. You may use the California State Bar Attorney Search to find a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
Production Legal Binder uses Anthropic's Claude API to assist in generating rights analysis and drafting agreements. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or language inappropriate for your specific facts, jurisdiction, or circumstances.
Your project data transmitted to the Anthropic API is governed by Anthropic's API data usage policy, under which API inputs are not used to train AI models. We recommend having all AI-generated agreements reviewed by a licensed attorney before execution or delivery to any counterparty.
We treat the project data and files you upload to Production Legal Binder as confidential. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the platform (e.g., AI processing via Anthropic's API, e-signature via DocuSign).
Because no attorney-client relationship is formed through use of this platform, communications are not protected by attorney-client privilege unless you separately engage a licensed attorney for legal representation. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any rights holder — including distributors, co-producers, music publishers, location owners, principals, or platforms — will approve or execute any agreement drafted through Production Legal Binder. Clearance outcomes depend on third-party decisions outside the Firm's control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to use of Production Legal Binder is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for partial periods.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon cancellation or termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export your files.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or any engagement under them shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
